Hoop Tunnels
A hoop tunnel (also called a low tunnel) uses flexible hoops covered in plastic or garden fabric over a row of plants. These protect plants from light frost and are great options for longer rows.
New to Hoop Tunnels? or not sure what you can grow in one?

This is a great set of 10 poles to make an 8ft long hoop tunnel, this is the hardware only but is this is a great option because you can use plastic to make a hoop tunnel, or garden netting to protect from insects & birds later in the growing season! (Plastic & Netting linked below)

This includes enough to do 2x 8 ft rows! Works great the hoop tunnel poles mentioned above
This ultra fine but durable netting is great for keeping birds and bugs away from crops and can be draped over the hoop tunnel hardware linked above.

I love this 3 part system because itβs versatile and can take your garden through the seasons, using the plastic sheeting to protect plants from frost, and then netting to protect from pests in the high season.
Optional
If youβre excited to get a jump on planting but your soil hasnβt thawed yet, try adding some Black Landscape Fabric to your garden beds. Combine this with your Hoop Tunnel + Clear Plastic Sheeting to warm your garden beds so the soil is thawed, workable and ready to plant.
